Acne-Prone Skin on Prescription TreatmentsUpdated a month ago

If you’re on prescription acne treatments (Differin, Epiduo, Duac, Treclin, Tretinoin, Roaccutane etc.), your skin is already under pressure. The safest approach is always:

1) Finish your prescription course first.

Let the skin settle before introducing anything new, otherwise it’s very easy to overload the barrier.

2) Patch test everything.

Test one Nyrah product behind the ear or under the jaw for 24 hours before full use.

3) Introduce products one at a time.

Give your skin 2–3 days between each new step so you can see exactly what suits it.

Once your prescription phase is complete and your skin is calm, here’s the gentlest way to start Nyrah:

1. CLEANSE

 UNDRESS – Fragrance-Free
Non-stripping and safe for post-treatment skin. Keeps the barrier steady.

2. HYDRATE

DRENCH – Fragrance-Free
Triple-weight hyaluronic acid to reintroduce hydration without irritation.

3. MOISTURISE / REPAIR

INFUSE - Fragrance Free
Light, barrier-supportive hydration ideal for skin recovering from dryness or peeling.

GLISTEN – Fragrance-Free
A gentle peptide and antioxidant serum, introduced slowly and only when the skin is stable.

Important Notes

• Never combine Nyrah actives with prescription actives, let your prescription do the work.
• Keep your routine simple until the skin fully stabilises.
• Redness, stinging or tightness = pull back and simplify.
• Slow and steady always wins with post-medicated skin.
