Why does my skin feel different when moving from trial size to full size?

This can happen occasionally and it doesn’t mean the formula has changed. Our trial sizes contain the exact same formulation as our full-size products.

A change in skin response is usually due to other factors, such as:

• Your skin condition changing since first use (hormones, stress, sensitivity)
• Seasonal or environmental shifts (cold weather, heating, humidity)
• Using the products more frequently once you have the full routine
• Layering products differently or introducing multiple actives at once
• A temporarily compromised skin barrier

When the skin barrier is under stress, even very gentle products can feel “too much”, not because they are harsh, but because the skin is overwhelmed.

What we recommend

If your skin feels unsettled, the best approach is to:

• Pause any active products for a few days
• Simplify to Undress + one comfort moisturiser (Absorb or Infuse)
• Reintroduce serums slowly (1–2 nights per week) once the skin calms
