Is the Nyrah Trial Pack suitable for Perioral Dermatitis (POD)?Updated 11 days ago
Yes, the Trial Pack can be suitable for Perioral Dermatitis, but it’s important to keep your routine very simple while the skin is irritated.
During a POD flare, we recommend:
AM
• Undress – gentle, fragrance-free cleanser
• Drench – light, POD-friendly hydration (fragrance-free)
• Your usual SPF
PM
• Undress
• Glisten – gentle hydration + peptides (fragrance-free)
• Avoid moisturisers directly on the POD area until the flare calms
(you can moisturise the rest of the face as normal)
Avoid for now:
• Transform (yellow bioretinol serum – too active during a flare)
• Heavy moisturisers on the affected area
• Any fragranced products around the POD zone
Once the POD settles, you can slowly introduce the remaining products at your own pace.
The Trial Pack is a great low-risk way to test what your skin tolerates, as you are not committing to full-size products.
If you would like to share a photo of the area (optional), we can tailor the routine further to help you avoid any POD triggers.
We’re here to help you every step of the way. 💛
