Skincare Routine with Tretinoin?Updated 14 days ago

Tretinoin & Your Skincare Routine

When using tretinoin, routines can vary quite a bit depending on your skin type, experience level, and how often you’re using it. The key is to keep things simple, supportive, and adaptable to how your skin is responding.

General AM Routine

• Gentle cleanse
Undress Cleansing Gel

• Hydrating serum
Drench Serum

• Moisturiser
Infuse Moisturiser

• SPF (essential)
Lumina SPF30 or SPF50

Tretinoin can increase sun sensitivity, so daily SPF is very important.

PM Routine (General Guidance)

On tretinoin nights:
• Cleanse
• Allow skin to dry fully
• Apply tretinoin (as prescribed)
• Follow with moisturiser

On non-tretinoin nights:
Focus on hydration and barrier support
• Cleanse
• Drench Serum
• Infuse Moisturiser

Where Absorb fits

Absorb can be a really nice addition for extra comfort and nourishment, particularly if skin is feeling dry.

We would suggest:
• Introducing it slowly
• Using it on non-tretinoin nights initially
• Adjusting frequency depending on how your skin responds

Where Transform fits

Transform is a bio-retinol alternative, formulated with bakuchiol and plant-based actives rather than traditional retinol.

If you are using prescription tretinoin, we would recommend:
• Keeping your routine simple initially
• Introducing Transform only on non-tretinoin nights, once skin is settled
• Not layering it directly with tretinoin

It’s a great option for supporting skin renewal, but not essential when starting out with tretinoin.

Getting started

If you’re new to Nyrah, starting with a trial set is a great way to introduce the products gradually and see what suits your skin best.
