Teen AcneUpdated a month ago

For younger skin, they don't need too much of a routine as their skin is still growing, and they may be new to skincare. I'd recommend starting simple with Undress gel cleanser, Glisten serum and I'd add Drench serum in too for hydration!

We have our Trial Pack which is mini versions of each of our products to try and see what works best for your son/ daughter's skin before dedicating to the full-size products.

A tiny bit of product goes a long way so be sure to not overload the skin, the products are very effective and spreadable so 1-2 drops/ pumps should cover the face. You definitely don't want to overload younger skin with new products!

Undress is a deep but gentle cleanser, it keeps the skin hydrated and maintains moisture so the skin doesn't feel dry, tight or flakey! Apply 1-2 pumps to dry skin, massage in for approx. one minute then remove with lukewarm water. Massage cleanser in for approx. one minute and even let it sit for a few minutes, this gives it time to really let it do the work because washing it off too quick doesn't give it much time.

Hydration is key when it comes to acne as in a lot of cases it's caused by oily skin, so we try to combat that oil by getting rid of it but this strips our skin of moisture. In an attempt to restore this moisture our skin then produces even more oils which can clog pores, so keeping the skin hydrated is very important!

Drench is a hyaluronic acid serum which means it's deeply hydrating and pulls moisture into the skin for added benefits.

Apply Drench serum to damp skin after cleansing and it'll pull the moisture form that dampness into the skin. It penetrates into the deepest layers of the skin for not only instant results but for long-lasting results!

Glisten is a collagen-boosting peptide serum so this targets redness, inflammation and it soothes and calms irritation.

Infuse is a cream-based moisturiser that infuses oxygen to boost tired skin and deeply hydrate, it also brightens the skin so this will help with scarring as well

For acne-prone skin I'd recommend using Drench in the morning then Glisten at night, or using Glisten one day and Drench the next to alternate the two!

Some extra advice that might help alongside using skincare:

-Eat well, drink plenty of water, get plenty of rest, reduce stress etc.

-If they have a fringe keep the hair clean and keep it back wherever possible for the skin to breathe and avoid hair products or residue clogging the skin.

-Clean pillowcases a couple of times per week as the fabric can cling onto germs then we sleep on them overnight.
-If they play any sports or exercise be sure to cleanse after exercise.
-Clean towels frequently as they can harbour bacteria as they stay damp
-Alternatively, let skin air dry after cleansing.
-Clean hands often as we all touch our faces often without realising the germs that can be on our hands, and don't pick at the face.

If there's anything new that they've recently tried it could be that or there could be ingredients that don't agree with their skin.

If they find their skin is sensitive at all you can do a patch test - pop a dot of product behind the ear and leave for 24-48 hours, if they experience any irritation then refrain from use but if not then they're good to go!
