What does “science-backed ingredients” mean?Updated 19 days ago
At Nyrah, “science-backed” means every key ingredient in our formulas is supported by published cosmetic or dermatological research. These ingredients are chosen for their proven benefits on sensitive, hormonal and maturing skin.
Some examples include:
• Niacinamide: strengthens the barrier and reduces redness
• Multi-weight hyaluronic acid: hydrates at different skin layers
• Peptides: support firmness, elasticity and smoothing
• Squalane: replenishes protective skin lipids
• Ceramides: reinforce a weakened skin barrier
• Bakuchiol: a gentle, botanical alternative to retinol
We also use clinically backed trademarked ingredients (PrimalHyal™ 3K, Uplevity™, Skinmimics®, etc.), each with manufacturer-provided safety and efficacy data.
You can find these listed on each product page under Key Ingredients.
We don’t share exact percentages for three reasons:
EU and UK cosmetic regulations do not require brands to publish percentages
Percentages alone do not determine performance, what matters more is:
• the formula architecture
• ingredient stability
• how ingredients are delivered into the skinOur percentages are proprietary to our bespoke formulations
Every Nyrah product undergoes full EU/UK safety testing and independent toxicology review, which confirms each ingredient is used at safe and effective levels.
