🦚 Where does the name Nyrah come from, and why the Peacock?Updated 2 months ago
🦚 At Nyrah Beauty, we’re a wellness-led brand that sees the whole woman: not just her skin.
The name Nyrah is inspired by Indian and Sanskrit traditions, where beauty is deeply connected to wisdom, creativity, and inner strength. In Hindu mythology, these qualities are embodied by Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom, creativity, and self-expression.
The peacock, one of her sacred symbols, represents confidence, transformation, and the courage to be seen. It doesn’t hide its colours, it reveals them fully and unapologetically.
That symbolism sits at the heart of Nyrah.
Especially through hormonal changes, when many women tell us they feel invisible, disconnected, or “not themselves,” we believe skincare should do more than treat the surface. It should support confidence, identity, and self-worth.
Just like the peacock, Nyrah exists to help women feel powerful, proud, and seen — at every stage of life, whether she’s 35 or 85.
