Why is my An Post tracking delayed?Updated a day ago

An Post is currently carrying out major upgrades at their Athlone sorting hub, where new automated sorting equipment is being installed.

During this time (expected to continue until late September), parcels are being rerouted through Portlaoise or Dublin, which may result in slight delivery delays.

Once your parcel is scanned it has officially entered the An Post system. Even if tracking updates take longer than usual, your parcel is on its way and will be delivered.
