Using SPF daily

SPF should be used every morning as the final step in your skincare routine, even on cloudy days. It’s essential for protecting the skin from UV damage, premature ageing, and pigmentation.

Our SPFs are serum-based, so they’re designed to sit like skincare on the skin — hydrating, nourishing, and protective in one step.

How to apply

Apply 1–2 pumps/drops as your final step in the morning
Press into the skin rather than rubbing
Allow a few minutes to settle before applying makeup

In many cases, you won’t need a moisturiser underneath, as the SPF provides enough hydration on its own.

Reapplication

SPF should be reapplied throughout the day, especially when exposed to daylight, outdoors, or on holidays.

As a guide:
Reapply every 2–3 hours when in consistent daylight
Reapply more frequently if swimming, sweating, or in strong sun

Skin finish

Our SPFs are designed to give a healthy, hydrated glow rather than a matte finish.

They do not fully “dry down” like traditional sunscreens, as they are supporting the skin barrier while protecting it.

If it feels heavy or affects makeup, this is usually due to layering or amount used.

A few simple tweaks can help:
Use less product underneath
Apply a smaller amount and build if needed
Let it settle before makeup
Use lighter makeup or apply with a sponge

On holidays / in strong sun

When skin is exposed to stronger UV:

SPF becomes even more important, apply generously and reapply regularly

It’s best to keep your routine simple and barrier-supportive

You may wish to pause more active products if your skin becomes sensitive

Skin can behave differently due to heat, climate changes, and travel, so adjusting your routine is normal
